Deadpool Max #8
In "One Night in Bangkok," Deadpool’s sudden retirement to marry and start a family leaves Bob—his less skilled, less insane alter ego—to don the red tights and attempt a rescue mission solo. When Bob is captured by the Crescent Moon Knights and sentenced to beheadment, his thoughts drift to past struggles and the strange path that led him here. Just as all seems lost, Colleen and Cable—unexpectedly in command of the Knights—arrive with Blind Al, and the real Deadpool shows up to free him from yet another chair. Written by David Lapham and illustrated in bold, expressive style by Kyle Baker, this issue blends dark humor with high-stakes peril, all wrapped in a cover by Kyle Baker.

Deadpool has quit to get married and be a father so Bob puts on the old, red tights and tries to rescue Blind Al on his own. Not having any of Deadpool's skill set, however, quickly proves a liability as he is captured by the Crescent Moon Knights and is prepared for beheadment (beheadedment ?). As he thinks back on his life and the trials that have brought him to this point (headlossedness ?), Bob is surprised when old pals Colleen and Cable turn out to be in charge of the Moon Knights and intervene. And they have Blind Al. And the real DP shows up to untie him from another chair.
