This issue contains two stories. The first follows Linda, who is torn between two men: Doug, whom she loves but who is melodramatic and unwilling to commit to marriage, and Hank Winters, a mysterious stranger she meets at a friend's wedding who intrigues her. After Doug leaves town, Linda eventually reconnects with him, and they resolve their differences, with Doug finally committing to a future together. The second story concerns Alice, a high school girl who enjoys the sudden popularity and attention she receives from boys, particularly Jerry, but realizes her behavior is shallow and becomes ashamed, eventually finding redemption when her mother tells her she has become as popular as her sister Martha.
