Dick Tracy #12

Apr 1987 · Blackthorne · 5.95 USD; 8.95 CAD

Dick Tracy #12 (1987) delivers a classic noir twist with Chester Gould’s unmistakable art and storytelling, as Sam Catchem’s risky move to use Sleet as an informant backfires spectacularly. When Sleet and her mother knock him out and leave him in the snow, Tracy steps in—arresting the pair while the Crimestoppers track down Sam—only for Sleet to escape and stumble into a house full of dangerous curios, including a gorilla she doesn’t yet know is alive. The cover by Chester Gould captures the tension perfectly, a fitting frame for this taut, suspense-driven chapter in the long-running series.
