District X #3
In "Mr. M 3 of 6," Daniel Kaufman’s bold raid on mob boss Frankie Zapruder’s safe house sets off a chain of dangerous consequences when he steals Toad Boy, a young mutant whose secretions offer an intoxicating high. Written by David Hine and illustrated by David Yardin, with colors by Andy Troy and Avalon, and lettered by Richard Starkings, Albert Deschesne, and Comicraft, the issue’s cover by Steve McNiven and Mark Morales captures the tension of a city teetering on the edge.
