Doom takes the Masters of Evil to a distant planet where they have to fight their way through a trio of Watchers' insectoid protectors who are guarding the powerful alien entity Quinn. Through illusions provided by Doom, the villains are able to get close enough to snatch Quinn. The alien is so powerful, however, that other cosmic entities are alerted and the Masters find themselves having to battle their way through Blastaar to get back to their ship. Through more of Doom's trickery, they let Blastaar believe he has won and take off, leaving him to face the cosmic consequences.
