Doctor Strange Damnation #3

Rod Reis delivers a genuinely unsettling image for this third chapter of Damnation: a figure wearing Doctor Strange's unmistakable Cloak of Levitation and Eye of Agamotto bears a flaming skull in place of a head, one skeletal hand raised with a pointed finger while the other grips what appears to be a cross — hellfire and sorcery colliding in one deeply atmospheric portrait. Written by Donny Cates and Nick Spencer with interior art by Szymon Kudranski, this 2018 series clearly isn't shy about dragging Marvel's Sorcerer Supreme into some very dark supernatural territory. If you're drawn to stories where the mystical and the infernal overlap, this cover alone makes a compelling case for picking up issue #3.
