When Donald Duck stumbles upon a hypnotic ray device, he hatches a plan to finally get Scrooge to be generous—by projecting a slide of himself and triggering Scrooge’s long-lost generosity. But when a mix-up with the slides leads Scrooge to see a dog instead, the uncle’s generosity goes into overdrive, buying every gift from the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas" for the unsuspecting animal.
