A new serial titled "Win Hungry!" introduces Ken King, a drag racer who competes in a match race against another driver in a blue vehicle at a drag strip. Ken experiences engine trouble during the race, hearing knocking sounds and feeling vibration in his car, but manages to secure financing from a man named Gerard to have the vehicle repaired. After the race, Ken visits his friend Jerry at a rooming house, where Jerry's landlord and others warn Ken about his reckless driving before the story continues on the next page.
