Edderkoppen #39
In "Hvem er Bange for Skorpionen?", the tide turns violently as the villains overpower the heroes, dismantle their base, and leave the field in ruins. With Thor and the Enchantress returning to a battlefield they don’t recognize, the X-Men make an unexpected alliance with Magneto while the Wasp seizes her chance to break free. As Torch and Captain Marvel channel their powers through Iron Man to escape a crushing mountain range, they find refuge in an alien village—where a mysterious woman tends to their wounds, unaware that Galactus watches from above. Written by Jim Shooter and Morten Søndergård, with art by Bob Layton and inks by John Beatty, this issue features a cover by Ron Frenz and Jackson Guice.
