“Footsteps of Frankenstein!”

"Footsteps of Frankenstein!" delivers a chilling tale from Eerie #3 (1972), a standout entry in the horror anthology's early run. Written by Archie Goodwin and brought to life with moody, detailed art by Gray Morrow, the story follows a survivor’s haunting account of a cursed island and a monstrous entity named Shoggath—whose terror reaches far beyond the shore. The cover, a striking piece by Ken Kelly, captures the dread with its eerie, dreamlike imagery.
