With cover by Ramiro Zittle, this 1972 issue blends wartime tension and guerrilla tactics in a story where the real battle is fought with lies and timing.

Fury and his Commandos are on a mission to capture Erwin Rommel, so they sneak into Berlin. Hitler and Rommel are together, but the commandoes are captured before they can complete their mission. Fury manages to free them, but they are pursued by Nazis soldiers led by Rommel. The Commandoes escape and capture a Nazi officer on the way out. Fury snatches victory from the jaws of defeat by having the captive officer broadcast a bogus story that the escape was allowed because Rommel is plotting to overthrow Hitler. Evidence suggests that their ruse successfully makes Hitler distrust Rommel.
