In "El Sorprendente Hombre Araña vs. el Camaleón," Peter Parker’s attempt to join the Four Fantastic at the Baxter Building goes awry when a misunderstanding leads to a clash with the team—Antorcha Humana, el Coloso, Míster Fantástico, and Mujer Invisible—before Reed Richards clears the air. After learning the heroes fight without pay, Hombre Araña departs, only to confront the newly introduced villain Camaleón, who’s impersonating him. When the impostor tries to escape disguised as a police officer, a frantic chase ends with the disguise torn apart, exposing the Camaleón and bringing him to justice.
