Elmira Pioneers Present The Perfect Game #[nn]
In this free 2016 release from Printed Heroes Publishing, rookie pitcher Justin takes the mound for his first game at Pioneers Field, leading his team to a dramatic ninth-inning victory with the help of catcher Chris. As the celebration unfolds, the team's winning streak becomes a strange ritual—Chris refuses to wash his famously stinky uniform, and even after the game, his cap proves too much for a young fan to accept. Written by Jared Aiosa and illustrated by Chris Bell, Doug Laura, Andrew Wales, and Geoff Munn, with inks by the same team, the story captures a quirky, heartfelt moment in baseball lore, all framed by a cover by Daniel P. Morris.
