In "Death Cargo of Doom!", Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, teams up with her eccentric dentist, Doctor Feral, to stop a deadly shipment of tainted DVDs—only to find themselves battling giant lobsters and dodging thieves on a dockside heist. With crates of Elvira comics among the stolen goods, she and her allies race through a warehouse filled with bizarre loot, only to be captured by the mysterious Jasper Moonbeam and his Inca henchmen. Written by Frank Strom and illustrated by Ronn Sutton, with inks by John Heebink and letters by Thom Zahler, this 2005 adventure blends campy horror and pulpy intrigue in classic Elvira style. Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, learns from her dentist, Doctor Feral, of a shipment of dvd movies tainted with poison. Elvira, Feral and his men board the docked ship but thieves steal the crates while Elvira and friends are being attacked by giant lobsters. They track down a warehouse full of stolen items (including crates of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark comic books) but are captured by Jasper Moonbeam and his Inca henchmen. Our heroes escape and defeat the bad guys.
