With the help of the mysterious masked gunman The Visage, she flees to a seaside cruise, where a sudden attack by a giant ape sends her and Karl Koaltz scrambling ashore, only to be met by Madame Zzarhex and her band of gorillas. The Visage stands guard as the chaos escalates, culminating in the shocking arrival of the Abominable Snowman, who swallows the gem at the heart of it all. Written by Frank Strom and illustrated by Ronn Sutton, with inks by Joe Rubinstein and letters by Thom Zahler, this 2006 adventure blends campy horror and pulp parody in classic Elvira style, all wrapped in a striking cover by Ronn Sutton.

Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, wins a remarkable gem in a gumball machine and suddenly she is being chased by someone intending to kill her. In steps the mysterious masked gunman The Visage (parody of The Shadow) who protects her by booking her passage on a ship cruise. While talking on board with Karl Koaltz, they are suddenly attacked by a giant ape. Escaping to shore they encounter Madame Zzarhex and her pet gorillas. The Visage stands to protect Elvira but the Abominable Snowman makes an appearance, swallowing the mysterious gem that was the source of all the problems in the first place.
