Emma at the Beach #[nn]
A 60-cent comic in 1990, *Emma at the Beach* #nn delivers a delightfully mischievous summer tale from James Stevenson, who wrote, drew, inked, colored, and lettered every page. When young witch Emma and her friends are threatened by the grumpy presence of older witches Dolores and Lavinia, a quiet campaign of playful sabotage begins—just in time for a beachside party to finally settle into something like peace. The cover, also by Stevenson, captures the whimsical tension of the moment with a perfectly poised, spellbound smile.
