Part of the Les Univers de Stefan Wul banner, this Dutch-language album launches the Enorme Angst series with a cover that immediately commands attention — a massive, aquatic-tinged face fills the frame, its glowing blue eyes bearing strange propeller-like pupils while bubbles drift across pale, otherworldly skin. The suffocating underwater atmosphere and that expression of wide-mouthed dread make "Opstand der Oceanen" ("Revolt of the Oceans") feel like exactly the kind of unsettling science-fiction that Wul's legacy promises.
