A rain-lashed flight on horseback sets the tone for Ermo Tome 6: Mort à Madrid, the sixth volume in this French-language adventure series published by Libre d'Images in 2013. The cover, rendered in a striking near-monochrome palette broken only by splashes of red, shows two riders galloping desperately through a storm — a figure clutching someone close on a dark horse in the foreground, with a second mounted pursuer visible behind them. Loth's atmospheric linework gives the scene a raw, cinematic urgency that makes this chapter of Ermo genuinely hard to put down before you've even opened it.
