Escape of the Living Dead: Airborne #2

Oct 2006 · Avatar Press · 3.99 USD

In *Escape of the Living Dead: Airborne #2* (2006), writer John A. Russo and artist Dheeraj Verma deliver a grim descent into chaos as a group of carefree hippie travelers, lost in the woods and lost in their own euphoria, begin to realize their idyllic retreat is anything but safe. With cover art by Dheeraj Verma and inks by Lalit Kumar Sharma, the issue builds dread as the line between peace and pandemonium blurs, and the forest itself seems to breathe with hunger.

As the hippie passengers of a broken-down bus enjoy a comfortable, drug-induced haze, their practice of "free love" will slowly slip into a gut-wrenching orgy of death. Not suspecting that the surrounding woods are crawling with reanimated corpses that crave human flesh, the children of the Age of Aquarius begin a night of debauchery... And one by one, they will all face horrifying murder at the hands of the undead!
