On a world where Danny Rand controls the entire superhero population through Heroes for Hire, the Exiles arrive and are told by the Tallus that they are to stop the Avengers from defeating Moses Magnum, thus allowing him to destroy Japan. Sunfire convinces her teammates to buck the Timebroker's commands and they decide to help the Japanese and take down Magnum. Magik doesn't agree and begins to kill Avengers as the Exiles begin to face down Magnum's forces.
