Exposure #3
In "Pretty as a Picture," Naomi’s desperate leap from her apartment balcony is halted by an angel who bears the face of Lisa’s late mother—setting off a haunting journey as her own reality begins to fray. As she flees, fragments of her dissolve in and out of existence, forcing Lisa and Shawna to track her down and bring her home, only for her to face new terrors in the mirror’s reflection. Written by David Campiti and illustrated by Al Rio—with colors by MindWinder Studios and Mickey Clausen, and letters by Matt Thompson—this issue blends psychological unease with surreal dread, all anchored by Rio’s striking cover art.
