This volume collects the first five issues of the 2003 IDW series Fallen Angel, written by Peter David with art by J.K. Woodward. It follows the mysterious and powerful Liandra, the Fallen Angel, as she presides over the dangerous, supernatural city of Bette Noire, a place where morality is gray and secrets abound. The collection sets up the series' noir-infused, character-driven narrative and introduces key figures in her world.
