Doom sends his Doombots across the globe, demanding governments surrender to him or face the consequences. In orbit, the Fantastic Five's offspring are trapped by one robot inside the team's spacecraft. Franklin removes the vessel's shields, gambling exposure to cosmic rays might enhance his power; the ploy works and Franklin obliterates the robot, then prepares to lead the others back to face Doom. Just as the USA surrenders to Doom, the imprisoned Reed claims he still hasn't been humbled and until he has, Doom won't have won.
