Fantastic Four: House of M #1
In "A Doctor in the House," Dr. Doom returns to Latveria after defeating the Mole King with the Fearsome Four, only to face a humbling summons from Magneto himself—treated as little more than a servant in the mutant ruler’s court. Written by John Layman and illustrated by Scot Eaton, with inks by Don Hillsman II and colors by Dean White, this 2005 issue sets a simmering tone of defiance as Doom, even in the shadow of Magneto’s power, begins to plot his own reckoning. The cover, by Scot Eaton, captures the moment with sharp, dramatic flair.
