Far West #2

Jan 1999 · Antarctic Press · 2.99 USD; 4.50 CAD
“Untitled”

In the gritty frontier town of Far West #2, Sheriff Meg—a sharp-tongued elf with a badge and a past—digs into the mystery behind the dragon that destroyed a train, tracking the trail to the dangerous Ogre district. With her partner Phil, a bear with a no-nonsense attitude, she pushes through a tense showdown with the locals, testing the limits of law and order. Back in her room, the quiet after the fight is shattered when a seemingly harmless toy tin soldier erupts into a barrage of firepower, turning her sanctuary into a battlefield. Written and illustrated by Richard Moore, this self-contained story blends gritty Western tone with surreal twists, all rendered in Moore’s distinctive, hand-crafted style, with cover art by Moore as well.
