This anthology issue contains two crime stories. "Ganglands Double Cross" follows Tommy Carr, a young gang member in Chicago who plans a jewelry store heist with his criminal associates; when Tommy attempts to betray the gang and take the stolen goods for himself, he is betrayed in turn and the gang robs the fur store instead. "Fall Guy for Crime" tells of Dom Vincent, a Brooklyn youth in 1945 who seeks fast money and becomes entangled with criminals; after being used as a fall guy for a kidnapping scheme, Dom is shot by the very gang he tried to work with, learning too late that crime brings only grief and death.

Johnny Sulak, a small but brutally strong underworld czar, murders his way to total control of the rackets in a Midwestern city, leaving detectives baffled by the strength required to commit such crimes—until a careless match cover bearing a woman's name provides the crucial lead. When police officer Mary Fisk goes undercover as a newcomer to get close to him, the hunt intensifies to stop the runt-sized king of the hoods before his reign of violence claims more victims.

Tommy Carr, a cocksure young bandit with a baby face, leads his gang on a brazen crime spree across Chicago—robbing, shooting, and outwitting the police at every turn with clever disguises and ruthless audacity. When the police finally get a break through Carr's weakness for his girlfriend Mary, they set a trap using her as unwitting bait to corner the arrogant criminal. The District Attorney narrates how law and order ultimately write the final chapter on Carr's reign of terror.
