# Fightin' Marines #2 (1951) A Marine unit trapped in a gatehouse by enemy machine-gun fire devises a plan to blow up a dam by using smoke grenades to screen their approach to enemy rafts, with O'Leary piloting the launch through the smoke to reach the target. After successfully executing their assault and destroying the dam complex with explosive charges, the Marines pursue retreating enemy forces, with Jackson using a kitchen trailer and kettle as an improvised weapon to attack pursuing soldiers. The story concludes with American soldiers encountering exhausted enemy troops who surrender, asking for food and assistance.
