After a tough day at work and with his father, Jason becomes Firestorm to blow off some steam. While doing so he encounters a couple members of the JLA who are very interested in the new Firestorm. After the encounter, Firestorm meets one Casey Krinsky who has the power to channel things. Firestorm lets her get close to him, and she absorbs some of his powers and then disappears.
