After their parents’ death, Carol raises her much younger sister Kathy but is cruel and domineering. Carol marries Wes and Kathy likes him, but the marriage breaks up. When she’s 18, Kathy falls in love with Barry then Carol steals him away. Wes learns Carol was blackmailing Barry to pretend to love her, just to hurt Kathy. Wes resolves the problem, Barry and Kathy reconcile, and Carol is left alone.
