Goofy fumbles his way into building a go-kart from a wobbly chair, a lawn mower, and backyard odds and ends—only to accidentally win a local race. With Mickey’s encouragement, he turns his makeshift machine into the centerpiece of a wild cross-country kart race.

In "The Side-Kart Caper," Goofy’s makeshift sidecar—built from a bathtub—starts as a joke no one wants to ride, until Clarabelle ducks inside to escape someone wearing a hat just like hers. When the hat gets damaged, Goofy sets out to earn money to replace it, turning a silly detour into a surprisingly heartfelt mission.
