Four Color #275
In "April Fool Photo," Carl Barks delivers a whimsical adventure as the ducks are whisked away to Persia by a mysterious scientist, uncovering the ancient, dust-locked city of Itsa Faka. When Donald is mistaken for a long-lost prince who once rejected the king’s daughter, a sudden marriage ceremony throws the whole group into a whirlwind of royal confusion. With Barks handling every aspect of the interior art and lettering, and his distinctive style brought to life on the cover by his own pencils and inks, this 1950 Four Color issue is a delightful, visually rich tale from the golden age of comics.
