“Tom-Tom Island”

In "Tom-Tom Island," Mickey Mouse gets an unexpected invitation from his friend Tom-Tom on a distant African island, asking him and Goofy to visit during the week. Goofy’s striking resemblance to the island’s revered idol, Teetotem, quickly turns the visit into a sticky situation when the locals refuse to let him go. The story, illustrated by Riley Thomson with coloring by the Western Publishing Production Shop, features a cover by Carl Buettner, capturing the whimsical adventure of a 1950s Four Color comic.
