Dr. Kort succeeds in freeing Deathlok from Mentallo's control and Fury shows up to take the cyborg to SHIELD. Nighthawk's company uncovers a mysterious rock and contacts Kort as it appears there is something trapped inside of it. An alien is freed from the rock and, even though he looks like a monster and is hounded, he winds up helping Thing and Nighhawk save children from a burning building.
