From Hell: Mass Edition #[nn]

Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell's landmark Jack the Ripper saga gets a handsome collected edition from IDW in 2016. The cover art — rendered in stark red and white — presents a brooding London skyline dominated by a domed cathedral silhouette beneath a faintly visible moon, with fierce hatched strokes sweeping across the sky like a city barely containing something dark. It's a beautifully atmospheric package for one of comics' most ambitious and meticulously researched works.
