Future State: Superman #[nn]
In *Future State: Superman #nn*, writer Mark Russell and artist Steve Pugh deliver a compelling look at a distant Earth where the United Planets has its seat on the planet, and Lois Lane stands before the council with a surprising petition: Lex Luthor’s home planet, Lexor, seeks membership. Superman, facing the fallout of dismantling Luthor’s interstellar robot army, must now argue for Lexor’s inclusion—even as Luthor vows revenge. The story unfolds with quiet tension and moral weight, all rendered in Steve Pugh’s distinctive, textured art and Romulo Fajardo Jr.’s evocative colors. Mikel Janín’s cover captures the gravity of the moment, a striking image of a future where Earth’s role in galactic affairs is both powerful and precarious.
