G.I. Joe #12
In this pivotal issue of G.I. Joe (2009), tensions rise as the Baroness lashes out over a failed mission, prompting Destro to eliminate a traitor to prove his allegiance. With the Pit’s systems back online and Mainframe cleared of false charges, the team scrambles to regroup—Snake Eyes undergoes surgery, Scarlett surrenders and sets out to find him, only to discover he’s vanished. Meanwhile, a return from Destro’s castle sets the stage for new threats, while Snake Eyes seeks guidance from the Hard Master in New York. Written by Chuck Dixon and illustrated with sharp detail by S. L. Gallant, with colors by Andrew Crossley and letters by Robbie Robbins, the cover by Howard Chaykin captures the intensity of the moment.
