“Threads and Resolutions”

In "Threads and Resolutions," the G.I. Joe team faces a shifting landscape of loss and renewal as Cobra Commander’s incursion into the rebranded Borovia sets off a chain of pivotal moments. Rock N Roll and Stalker honor fallen comrades at Arlington Cemetery, while Mutt and Spirit clear their names after the Millville incident. Meanwhile, Billy’s unexpected meeting with Zartan at Destro’s castle takes a sudden turn, and the Star Brigade launches into space—all as the Ninja Force finds a rare moment of peace and Zarana departs with the Dreadnoks for new paths. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by Phil Gosier, with inks by Chip Wallace and letters by Vickie Williams, the cover by Phil Gosier and Tim Tuohy captures the tension and transition of this defining issue.

Cobra Commander invades Borovia (renamed Borigia/Krazny-Marengo) to reestablish former President Metz, and he kills off Magda and the White Clown to do it. Rock N Roll and Stalker are at Arlington Cemetery paying respects. Mutt and Spirit are proven innocent of the Millville incident. Star Brigade heads into space for a mission, as Ninja Force reestablishes some quiet time for themselves. Billy meets up with Zartan and company at Destro's castle, but is interrupted no thanks to Dr. Mindbender and the Commander. Zarana and the Dreadnoks head off for other ventures elsewhere.
