G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #184
In G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #184, Clutch and Rock & Roll launch a daring rescue at Cobra’s Rancho Cobra, freeing three teenage prisoners—only to be recaptured themselves, leaving Clutch in Dr. Mindbender’s crosshairs and the brainwave scanner poised to test his limits. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, the Joe team in Benzheen watches in real time as Pale Peony, the Dreadnoks, Destro, and the Baroness disrupt Darklon’s bid for the Krytron, even as Airtight and Dusty fall into the hands of local authorities. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by S. L. Gallant, with inks by Gary Erskine and colors by J. Brown, this issue delivers high-stakes action and tense dual narratives, all framed by Ron Frenz’s dynamic cover art and Sal Buscema’s inks.
