G.I. Joe: America's Elite #9

Mar 2006 · Devil's Due Publishing · 2.95 USD
“Crimson, Not Red Enough”

In "Crimson, Not Red Enough," the G.I. Joe team scrambles to uncover the truth behind Snake Eyes' vanished body, following a series of escalating threats across the globe. From an assassination attempt on the American Vice President in Australia to a failed raid on a Cobra L.A. branch, the mission grows more urgent as Duke is captured by Colonel Calvin—a former Crimson Guard turned rogue commander with a B.A.T. facility and a warhead arsenal. Meanwhile, in Mongolia, Sei Tin, operating under the guise of T'JBang, presses forward with his mysterious plan to resurrect Snake Eyes. Penciled by Nelson Blake II and inked by John Lowe, with colors by Imaginary Friends Studios and letters by Brian J. Crowley, this 2006 issue delivers a tightly wound, globe-hopping thriller. The cover, by Stefano Caselli, captures the tension with a striking, stylized image of Snake Eyes’ silhouette against a crimson haze.
