“Power Struggle”

In "Power Struggle," Superion's arrival at the G.I. Joe base reveals a grim sight: Bumblebee has been destroyed, and the Joes struggle to contain the massive Transformer. With Optimus Prime dead, Blaster calls for all Autobots to retreat to the Ark, but the Decepticons seize control of a mobile power station and launch it into orbit. As Cobra, led by Dr. Mindbender, hijacks the station’s remote, it veers toward Cobra Island—pursued by a fleet of Cobra aircraft and the relentless Dirge. The cover by Herb Trimpe captures the escalating chaos, with the station’s fiery path lighting up the sky.
