G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes #3
In G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes #3 (2011), Snake Eyes is pushed to his limits as Helix and Iceberg fight to protect Alpine amid a relentless Viper ambush, taking out snipers and scrambling to regroup. With Khallikhan taunting him using stolen relics and allowing a dangerous escape to watch his prey, Snake Eyes confronts the killers of his students—Slice and Dice—while the threat to Scarlett and the rest of the Joes looms ever closer. The tension spikes as Iceberg reaches out to the Pit, only to be met with another wave of Viper attacks. Written by Chuck Dixon and illustrated by Robert Atkins, Agustín Padilla, and Juan Castro, with colors by Simon Gough and letters by Shawn Lee, the cover by Robert Atkins captures the grim intensity of the moment.
