“Thieves' World”

In "Thieves' World," Gambit returns to New Orleans, drawn back to the city of his past, only to find himself caught between old flames and dangerous new alliances. With ex-wife Bella Donna now with a mysterious new partner named Bandit, Remy’s homecoming takes a sharp turn when a rogue cop’s twisted scheme arms the local guilds with AIM tech, turning the city’s underworld against him. Written by John Layman and illustrated by Roger Robinson, with inks by James Pascoe and colors by Tom Chu, the issue’s cover by Georges Jeanty and Dexter Vines captures the tension of a thief stepping back into a world that may not welcome him.
