Gambit sends the Courier disguised as Professor X into the Pentagon to uncover information about his past but Mystique sniffs out the deception and Gambit is forced to go in himself to retrieve Jacob. Now united, the Thieves and Assassins Guilds perform the ceremony of the Unveiling and open the Casket of All Tomorrows which contains their ancient lore only to find that it is empty. Gambit discovers that Gris Gris and Theoren destroyed the contents of the Casket on his father's orders.
