Dynamite Entertainment brings the gross-out trading card phenomenon into full comic book form with Garbage Pail Kids Origins #1. The cover plunges readers straight into a mad-science scenario: a rotund, strapped-down GPK subject lies on an operating table with some kind of tube in his mouth, while a startled scientist in a white lab coat looks on and a gruff military figure watches from the foreground — all bathed in the eerie glow of an overhead lamp with a skull X-ray looming nearby.
