After tracking clues from her father’s last known meeting place in Paris, the Griffon investigates a suspicious boarding house, uncovering a hidden cellar and a secret room where the missing man is being held. The story builds toward a tense confrontation as the Griffon prepares to rescue him, but the outcome remains uncertain.
