Gen 13 #45
In "Murder on the Runway," the Gen kids crash a high-stakes underwear fashion show—where Bobby’s former foster sister and girlfriend is the star designer—only to find themselves tangled in a deadly scheme. When the models start acting strangely under a mysterious influence, the team must untangle a web of cybernetic control hidden in the very garments themselves. With Ed Benes' sharp art and Jonathan Sibal’s dynamic inks bringing the chaotic runway to life, this 1999 DC issue delivers a wild, stylish ride from Scott Lobdell and the creative team behind Gen 13.

The Gen kids head out to an underwear fashion show where Bobby's old foster sister slash girlfriend is the primary designer. Grunge has fun; even when Fairchild is mind controlled by skimpy lingerie and starts beating on him, he has fun. Oh, that happens because it turns out that Han's business partner is a bitter old fashion model who has put cyber thingies in the under thingies to make the models bow to her will and kill the entire crowd. So, how do you fight girls in skimpy, mind bending undies--you burn 'em off.
