Generation Hope #8
In "The Ward Part Three," Teon’s family confronts the X-Men over his detention, but Teon’s unexpected clarity and conviction in defending his actions leave even his allies unsettled. As Kenji and Laurie observe the strange alignment in their own thoughts and choices, they begin to suspect that Hope’s presence is quietly reshaping their minds—without anyone realizing it. Written by Kieron Gillen and illustrated by Salvador Espin, with colors by Jim Charalampidis and letters by Dave Sharpe, this issue deepens the mystery of influence and identity in a story where the mind may be the most dangerous weapon of all. Cover by Salvador Espin.

Teon's family try to release him from the X-Men's custody, but Teon makes a surprisingly articulate defense of himself and remains with the X-Men. Kenji and Laurie note this and comparing their own behavior with each other realize Hope is exerting some sort of psychic influence on all of them.
