"Sgt. Jan—Army Courier!" follows a military puppet who receives orders from the General to deliver military reports to headquarters at Fifth Avenue and 10th Street during wartime, encounters the character Mary Lou, and must deliver urgent information to Sir Guy's Quarters while navigating obstacles including a wedding ring that must be placed on someone, ultimately resulting in a successful rescue.
