Ghost #4
In "Stare at the Sun Part 1," Ghost faces a devastating betrayal as her closest allies, Margo and Concordia, turn out to be Furies—women she once trusted completely. With her boyfriend Peter revealed as part of their scheme, and her own origins unraveling, Elisa confronts Focus, who claims her ghostly powers stem from a failed experiment in intangibility. Written by Chris Warner and illustrated by Christian Zanier, with inks by Steve Moncuse and colors by Chris Chalenor and Daniel Jackson, this pivotal issue deepens the mystery of Elisa’s past and the true cost of her powers. The cover, by Dan Norton, captures the tension with a haunting, intimate moment between Ghost and her shadowed adversary.

Ghost has to save Margo and Concordia from the Furies, women she thought of as her closest friends and allies. She also learns that her boyfriend, Peter, is part of their intricate plot. Elisa confronts Focus and learns that she was once a Fury herself and her "ghost" powers are the result of an experiment in intangibility--an experiment that went wrong. Focus claims that she was at the procedure where Trouvaille tried to rip Elisa's soul from her body as an undercover agent, trying to protect her friend. This seems a tad disingenuous, however, when Focus calls her men in to capture Ghost.
