“Shifter Part 3”

In "Shifter Part 3," Ghost and Tiger push deeper into the heart of Vegas, racing against time as Marlo reveals Roger has captured Concordia. With demons still loose and the Vortex facility holding a trapped ancient evil, the duo must navigate shifting dangers—tactical retreats, hidden weapons, and a pulse wave that could unleash a force long sealed. Christian Zanier’s dynamic art, with Ashley Gillick’s striking cover, brings the tension to life in this pivotal 1999 Dark Horse issue.

Ghost and Tiger fight off the demons, Lance and Lucy, and head back into the heart of Vegas. Marlo tells them that Roger has captured Concordia and Ghost swoops in to rescue her. Tiger takes the girls out to his house for their own safety and to recover a few demon fighting weapons (he has the sword Excalibur sitting in his garage). Ghost and Tiger return to the Vortex facility so that Elisa can enter the impenetrable force field and ask them to turn off their pulse waves which are threatening to free the demon Szothstromael from his captivity.
